Aloe For Wrinkles & Blemishes
February 21, 2014
Day 1
I have decided to try Aloe therapy as I have heard it called. To use mostly for pimples, dry skin and wrinkles.
Did a full facial - washed, steamed, exfoliated then used Aloe all over my face and neck for the first time, little messy at first. Intense itching all over face and neck.

Day 2
I really notice my skin is much softer, actively infected pimples - infection is gone. Scabbed over. YAY.

Day 3
Skin much smoother feeling after washing.

Day 4
Noticed the "chicken skin" on my neck, just a wee bit tighter.

Day 5
Skin is smooth and soft, works well as exfoliant - have not had to do that since I started using it.
I am not sure why my skin still feels tight. When the pimple scabs are gone, I don't want to pull them off because of scarring. Then I will use lotion as well. All is going well, still my face feels tight though. ?????

Have given it up. I love the way it works, but it turned my skin a yellowish tint that took days to get rid of. Someone thought I was sick. I had not really noticed it until someone asked me if I was feeling bad I was looking yellow OMG!!!
I still use it in spotty places for blemishes and the wrinkle prone areas and on the neck but only every other day. I am sticking with my Nivea soft. I love the way that makes my face feels, its not too heavy like the stuff in the blue tub - that gets used nightly for my hands.
Aloe is still my go to for all other skin problems but for daily use all over - not any more.
