Pumice Stone Hair Remover
September 12, 2011
Well hello again, here I am with another experiment this time with a pumice stone for removing hair - in other words looking for a way to not have to shave my legs everyday.
I went online and was looking mostly at using a loofah. I see it alot but I also saw that it only worked a bit for most, then I stumbled on a website that says using a pumice stone will somehow work. HMMMMMM well I have one of those and as with everything else I am serious about doing this and am a bit stubborn and once I make up my mind its done. So I started doing a small spot on my knee which is the hardest part for me to get - on the side. I took my pumice stone and wet the skin and soaped it all up all nice and did what it said on the site - just rub in a circular motion very lightly and gently every day till its gone. Well I started doing this on Friday last which was Sep 9. I have done it for 3 days now and for just sake of experiment it seems to be working. I mean its a small spot and I have to be careful to keep it in the same spot just to see if it works. The hair that grows around it still grows at about the same rate but where I am using the pumice stone, its just the tiniest - I mean tiniest bit shorter. So I will keep up on a weekly basis letting you know how it goes.
I will be doing it every day but only updating once a week as I can see this will take time and won't be as dramatic as the hair rinse - which by the way is still done once a week now and is still looking just wonderful, even now under my bangs there is no more gray just the blonde I started out with so man years ago.

The spot on my leg where I am trying the pumice stone method is working wonderful. Its still there but between shavings, it is all so much shorter and when I do shave it stays much longer than before. The skin underneath is no worse for wear as I thought it might scrape and dry out too much. Its going well.

Its working but not as quickly or as well as I wanted but it is slowly working, so I consider it a win.
