How did I get so far behind, I have got to give a try to keep up with local pics and things. I am going to start a new page/blog for the empty nest that is in my Camelia tree.

It seems easier for me to post my Critter Watch and Gardening all onto Facebook, you can get to that from my About Me Tab.
Have I gotten this far behind that I am just not posting much anymore. Hmm I gotta get that back in check. Anyhoo here is a pic of tonight in beautiful Southern California. This is Mount Wilson the webcam up in the mountains behind me and some of downtown
Went to the LA County Arboretum for the first time yesterday since the wind storm, it was still beautiful, there were places I had never seen before, I guess it had been just that overgrown. There were alot of trees that had been cut down to the bottom, it was heartbreaking I suppose, but only a few were actually rooted up so I know that they will shoot soon.
The Canada Geese were there, they make so much noise, they have no trouble just coming right up to you either. :) The Queen Ann Cottage was having it's roof redone, the waterfall when you first go in was off and drained, all the pathways were cleared and walkable. It was a beautiful sunny day - this is why I live in Southern California. The Squirrels there will come right up to you wanting you to feed them, your not suppose to so I did not but they will just run right up to you, the ones here don't do that and I have known them since they were babies and these total strangers just come right up and say hi. ???? I can't wait for the trees to start to reshoot again. They said they are going to do some new things there, looking real forward to that. It was a bit dissapointing that so much was closed down for repairs but it was still a wonderful day. :) I did not realize it had been so long since I had done this. So here goes for the last few weeks

Well I am still reading - slowly it appears to be going, though its not that it is not interesting I just find myself doing everything else as well.
I am in the middle of The Vampire Lestat, and like I said since going about re-reading it since I saw Queen Of The Damned, it is SOOOOO much better. I know ONLY see Vincent Perez as Marius and Stuart as Lestat. MMMMM :D |
